Workforce development plays a vital role in shaping our communities and improving our individual lives. The careers we pursue influence our quality of life and serve as role models for the next generation. During the listening sessions across Oregon, the Built Environment team heard a clear call for more focus on fair pay and wealth building opportunities. Aligned with the Built Environment Strategic Plan, the team will be proposing projects to directly benefit communities by making meaningful investments in their futures. In prioritizing workforce development, the team aims to create communities that are ready to thrive in a modern world, ensuring long-term prosperity for everyone. 

Projects funded by this program will be in alignment with the Built Environment Strategic Plan (El Plan Estratégico del Ambiente Construido).
